Alfresco Roast

Recently my Dad realised that we are an eccentric family. We embraced this (and dragged some friends with us) by having an alfresco summer roast dinner with some international overtones – flag waving and the singing of land of hope and glory were, inexplicably, compulsory. In other news, I won best dressed in the town – an award from my niece – it was a close call but as I had worn a dress (because my niece made me) and jewellery (because my niece made me), I edged out the competition.
